How to prevent TentBox emails landing in your SPAM folder

Our guide to ensuring our important TentBox emails are delivered to your inbox folder

Unfortunately, sometimes our emails end up in your spam or junk mail. To avoid this happening in the future we have put together an easy step by step guide to ensure you receive all of our important emails. Please find the correct step by step guide for your email domain below.

Gmail

To ensure our important emails are delivered to your primary Gmail inbox folder you need to add TentBox as a contact and create a 'filter rule' to stop any messages from our email address going into your spam folder. It is possible to do this on a computer or an Android smartphone/tablet.

Gmail Step 1: Creating a TentBox contact

On a computer

  • Open the TentBox email and click the two right arrows on the top right hand side of the email, click Move and choose move to Primary inbox.
  • Select Create contact either in the top left corner of the email
  • Enter our contact information, making sure you include our support@tentbox.com email address
  • Finally, click Save in the bottom right corner

On an Android smartphone or tablet (mobile app)

  • Open the TentBox email, click the three dots on the top right corner and click Not spam
  • Open the Contacts app on your Android smartphone or tablet, in the bottom right corner click Add
  • Enter our contact information, making sure you include our support@tentbox.com email address
  • Save the contact to the correct account by clicking the Down arrow (next to your email account) and select our TentBox email account
  • Finally, click Save

Gmail Step 2: Creating a filter rule

  • On a computer open the Gmail website in your web browser
  • Select the Down Arrow from the search box (at the top of the screen)
  • Enter our support@tentbox.com email address into the From field
  • Click Create filter at the bottom of the search window
  • Select Never send to spam
  • Finally, select Create filter

Outlook (Office 365, Hotmail or Live Mail)

To ensure our important emails are delivered to your primary Outlook (Office 365, Hotmail or Live Mail) inbox folder you need to add us as a contact and add our contact details to the safe sender list. For Outlook (Office 365, Hotmail or Live Mail) all email addresses in the safe senders list will always be treated as important mail.

Outlook Step 1: Unmark email from junk

  • Open our email in your junk email folder
  • Right click on our email, select Mark as not junk
  • Finally, find our email in your primary inbox

Outlook Step 2: Create contact as a safe sender

  • On your smartphone/tablet or computer add our support@tentbox.comas an email contact
  • Open Outlook on a computer
  • Click the Settings icon
  • Select View all Outlook settingsand then select Mail
  • Click Junk Email andenter our support@tentbox.com email address
  • Click Add and then click Save

Yahoo

To ensure our important emails are delivered to your primary Yahoo inbox folder you need to unmark our emails as spam and add us as a Yahoo contact.

Yahoo Step 1: Unmark email as spam

From your mobile browser:

  • On your mobile web browser go to Yahoo Mail
  • Go to your Spam folder and select the email we sent you
  • Click the Move icon and select Inbox

From a computer:

  • On your web browser go to Yahoo Mail
  • Go to your Spam folder and select the email we sent you
  • Click Not spam at the top of the page

Yahoo Step 2: Add TentBox as a contact

  • In Yahoo Mail (mobile or computer browser) select the Contacts icon
  • Click Add new contact
  • Enter our contact information, making sure you include our support@tentbox.com email address
  • Click Save
